Climate : There are there main seasons, the dry season (November to March), which is relatively cool, sunny and dry, the premonsoon season (April and May), which is very hot and sunny with occasional shower, and the rainy season (June to October), which is warm, cloudy and wet.

সীতাকুণ্ড: প্রায় 37 কিমি। চাটোগ্রাম থেকে সীতাকুন্ড নামে পরিচিত একটি আকর্ষণীয় জায়গা, একই নামের একটি রেলস্টেশন দ্বারা পরিবেশন করা। এই জায়গার অনেক মন্দিরের মধ্যে বিখ্যাত চন্দ্রনাথ মন্দির এবং বৌদ্ধ মন্দিরে ভগবান বুদ্ধের পাদদেশ রয়েছে। এই জায়গাগুলি বিশেষত বৌদ্ধ এবং হিন্দুদের দ্বারা অত্যন্ত পবিত্র হিসাবে বিবেচিত হয়। প্রতিবছর ফেব্রুয়ারিতে শিব-চতুর্দশী উত্সব অনুষ্ঠিত হয় যখন হাজার হাজার তীর্থযাত্রী এই উত্সবটির জন্য সমবেত হয় যা প্রায় দশ দিন স্থায়ী হয়। লবণ জলের ঝর্ণা আছে 5 কিমি। সীতাকুণ্ডের উত্তরে, লাবণখ্যা নামে পরিচিত।
Sitakunda : About 37 km. from Chattogram lies an interesting place known as Sitakunda, served by a railway station of the same name. Famous among the many temples in this place are the Chandranath Temple and the Buddhist Temple has a footprint of Lord Buddha. These places particularly the hilltops are regarded as very sacred by the Buddhists and the Hindus. Siva-chaturdashi festival is held every year in February when thousands of pilgrims assemble for the celebrations which last about ten days. There is a salt water spring 5 km. to the north of Sitakunda, known as Labanakhya.
পতেঙ্গা বাংলাদেশের চট্টগ্রাম শহরের সমুদ্র সৈকত যা কর্ণফুলী নদীর মোহনায় অবস্থিত বন্দর নগরী চট্টগ্রাম থেকে প্রায় ১৪ কিলোমিটার দক্ষিণে অবস্থিত। পতেঙ্গা চট্টগ্রাম শহরের একটি জনপ্রিয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্র।
১৯৯১ সালের ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে এই সৈকতটি ভয়াবহ ভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ হয়। বর্তমানে সমুদ্র সৈকতে সিমেন্ট দিয়ে তৈরি করা বেড়ি বাঁধ দেয়া হয়েছে।
শাহ আমানত আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর এবং বাংলাদেশ নৌ বাহিনীর ঘাঁটি বিএনএস ঈসা খান পতেঙ্গার সন্নিকটে অবস্থিত। এছাড়া চট্টগ্রাম বন্দরের অনেক জেটি এইখানে অবস্থিত। এছাড়া জনপ্রিয় পতেঙ্গা সমুদ্র সৈকত ও বাংলাদেশ নেভাল একাডেমি এইখানে অবস্থিত......Patenga is a beach in Chittagong, Bangladesh, located at the mouth of the Karnafuli River, about 14 km south of the port city of Chittagong. Patenga is a popular tourist destination in Chittagong city.
The beach was badly damaged in the 1991 cyclone. At present, the beach has been fenced with cement.

Concorde Fayez Lake Concorde, the largest construction company in Bangladesh, has set up an amusement park around the lake, where boat trips, restaurants, trekking and concerts are organized for visitors. Currently there are rare species of birds and deer watching at the deer park. Chittagong Zoo is located next to Fayez Lake. Visitors can also rent a cottage. Many local and foreign tourists visit Fayez Lake every year due to its beautiful surroundings and natural beauty.
