Sundarban is the world biggest mangrove forest. In Bangladesh tourism, Sunderban plays the most vital role. A large number of foreigners come to Bangladesh every year only to visit this unique mangrove forest. Besides, local tourists also go to visit Sundarban every year. The area of great Sundarban is approximately 6000 sq. km

যোগাযোগের মাধ্যম-Means of Communication:

 খুলনা বা মংলা বন্দর থেকে সুন্দরবন ঘুরে দেখার যোগাযোগের একমাত্র মাধ্যম জল পরিবহন। এজন্য ব্যক্তিগত মোটর লঞ্চ, স্পিডবোট, দেশীয় নৌকা পাশাপাশি মংলা বন্দর কর্তৃপক্ষের যান্ত্রিক নৌযান ভাড়া নেওয়া হতে পারে। ঢাকা থেকে দর্শনার্থীরা বিমান, রাস্তা বা রকেট স্টিমার দিয়ে খুলনা যেতে পারে - সুন্দরবনের প্রবেশদ্বার। আপনি Dhakaাকা থেকে খুলনা সড়ক পথে বা নদী পথে যাত্রা শুরু করতে পারেন। দ্রুততম মোডটি বিমানের মাধ্যমে ঢাকা থেকে যশোর এবং পরে সড়ক পথে খুলনা হয়

 Water transport is the only means of communication for visiting the Sundarbans from Khulna or Mongla Port. Private motor launch, speedboats, country boats as well as mechanized vessel of Mongla Port Authority might be hired for the purpose. From Dhaka visitors may travel by air, road or rocket steamer to Khulna - the gateway to the Sundarbans. You can start journey from Dhaka to Khulna by road or by river. The quickest mode is by air from Dhaka to Jessore and then to Khulna by road.

যাত্রার সময়-Journey time:

 নদীর বিপরীতে বা পক্ষের পক্ষে জোয়ারের উপর নির্ভর করে এটি পরিবর্তিত হয়। সাধারণত মোংলা থেকে হিরণ পয়েন্ট বা কাটকা পর্যন্ত মোটর জাহাজে 6 থেকে 10 ঘন্টা যাত্রা লাগে।

 It varies depending on tides against or in favor in the river. Usually it takes 6 to 10 hours journey by motor vessel from Mongla to Hiron Point or Katka.

বিখ্যাত স্পটস-FAMOUS SPOTS:

The main tourist spots in Sundarban are Karamjol, Katka, Kochikhali, Hiron point and Mandarbaria. Hiron Point (Nilkamal) for tiger, deer, monkey, crocodiles, birds and natural beauty. Katka for deer, tiger, crocodiles, varieties of birds and monkey, morning and evening symphony of wild fowls. Vast expanse of grassy meadows running from Katka to Kachikhali (Tiger Point) provides opportunities for wild tracking. Tin Kona Island for tiger and deer.

 দুবলার চর-Dublar Char

কাটকা-Katka

 সুন্দরবনের অন্যতম itতিহ্যবাহী সাইট। কাটকাতে 40 ফুট উঁচুতে একটি কাঠের ওয়াচিং টাওয়ার রয়েছে সেখান থেকে আপনি সুন্দরবনের প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে পারবেন। একটি সুন্দর সমুদ্র সৈকত রয়েছে কটক্কা; আপনি দেখার টাওয়ার থেকে সৈকতে যাওয়ার সময় উপভোগ করবেন। কাত্কায় ভার্চটি পাখি দৃশ্যমান।
Katka is one of Heritage sites in Sunderban. In Katka there is a wooden watching tower of 40 ft. high from where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Sundarban. A beautiful sea beach is there is Katka; you will enjoy while you are walking to go the beach from the watching tower. Verities birds are visible in Katka.

প্রবেশের অনুমতি: সুন্দরবন দেখার জন্য বিভাগীয় বন অফিস, সার্কিট হাউস রোড, খুলনা (ফোন 20665, 211731) এর লিখিত আবেদনের মাধ্যমে পূর্বের অনুমতি নিতে হবে। সংশ্লিষ্ট বন স্টেশন / রেঞ্জ অফিসে প্রদেয় দর্শনার্থী, নৌযান বা নৌকো জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রবেশদ্বার ফি।

Entry Permission: Prior permission must be obtained through written application from the Divisional Forest Office, Circuit House Road, Khulna (Phone 20665, 211731) to visit the Sundarbans. Required entrance fees for visitors, vessel or boat payable at the relevant forest station/range office.

বনাঞ্চল পরিদর্শন: বিভাগ বন কর্মকর্তা, খুলনা থেকে বনাঞ্চলে যাওয়ার জন্য অনুমতি প্রয়োজন। কলেরার ভ্যাকসিনটি আগে থেকে ভালভাবে গ্রহণ করা উচিত। অ্যান্টি-ম্যালেরিয়াল, অ্যান্টি-ডায়রিহাল, পোকামাকড় দূষক ক্রিম, পানীয় জল, সবুজ নারকেল, মেডিকেল কিট, হালকা ক্রান্তীয় পোষাক, ঘন রাবারের সোলড বুট ইত্যাদি পর্যটকদের নিয়ে যেতে হয়। ভ্রমণকে ফলপ্রসূ করার জন্য অভিজ্ঞ গাইডের সাহায্য নেওয়া বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ হবে।

Visit to the Forest: Permission from the Division Forest Officer, Khulna is required to visit to the forest. Cholera vaccine is to be taken well in advance. Anti-malarial, anti-diarrhoeal, insect repellent cream, drinking water, green coconuts, medical kit, light tropical dress, thick rubber soled boots etc. are to be carried with the tourist. It will be wise to take the help of an experienced guide to make the journey fruitful.

পর্যটন মরসুম ও শুটিং-Tourist season & Shooting

সুন্দরবন ঘুরে দেখার সেরা সময় নভেম্বর থেকে মার্চ পর্যন্ত। আকর্ষণীয় মধু সংগ্রহের মরসুম এপ্রিল-মে মাসের মধ্যে। বন্যপ্রাণী সংরক্ষণের জন্য দেশে আইন দ্বারা শিকার নিষিদ্ধ। বিভাগীয় বন কর্মকর্তা, খুলনার পূর্ব অনুমতি নিয়ে কয়েকটি প্রজাতির পাখি গুলি করা যেতে পারে।

Best time to visit the Sundarbans is from November to March. Exciting honey collection season is during April-May. Hunting is prohibited by law in the country for the preservation of wildlife. Certain species of birds, however, can be shot with prior permission of the Divisional Forest Officer, Khulna.

                                                                                     অরণ্যে জীবন: বনের অভ্যন্তরে পরিবহণের একমাত্র মাধ্যম হ'ল নৌকা। কোথাও কোনও রাস্তা নেই, কোনও পথের পথ নেই। বুনো প্রাণীরা ভয়ে বন্য প্রাণীদের ভয়ে 8-10 ফুট উচ্চতায় বনের কিনারায় অস্থায়ী বাসস্থান করে। চাঁদপাই অঞ্চলে যাযাবর জেলেদের (নৌকায় করে পরিবারের সাথে বসবাস করা) প্রশিক্ষিত অফারগুলির সাহায্যে মাছ ধরতে দেখে আকর্ষণীয় হয়। আকর্ষণীয় ক্রিয়াকলাপ বনের দুবলার চরে ঘটে যেখানে চাটোগ্রামের জেলেরা চার মাস ধরে (অক্টোবরের মাঝামাঝি থেকে ফেব্রুয়ারীর মাঝামাঝি) মাছ ধরে এবং শুকানোর জন্য জড়ো হয়। তবে সমস্ত ক্রিয়াকলাপের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে সাহসী এবং উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ মধু সংগ্রহকারীরা উপস্থাপন করেছেন যারা মাত্র দু'মাস (এপ্রিল-মে) দলে দলে কাজ করেন এবং তারা কীভাবে মাতালকে সনাক্ত করেন এবং তারপরে মধু সংগ্রহ করেন তা দেখতে আকর্ষণীয় হবে।

Life in Forest: Only means of transportation inside the forest is boat. There is no road, no trail of a path anywhere. The woodcutters make temporary dwellings at the edge of the forest at a height of 8-10 feet for fear of wild animals others live on boats. In the chandpai region it is fascinating to see the nomadic fishermen (living with families on boats) catching fish with the help of trained offers. Exciting activities take place in Dublar Char in the forest where fishermen from Chattogram gather for four months (mid Oct. to mid Feb.) to catch and dry fish. But the most daring and exciting of all activities is presented by the honey-collectors who work in groups for just two months (April-May) and it is interesting to see how they locate a hive and then collect honey.
